Making Whole is a place where men come to find a path towards being whole. Along the way, beautiful objects are made.
We design and build custom furniture and architectural installations.
We work primarily in wood, metal, and concrete. We build in small batches and one-off custom pieces. This is not a production shop. We take on only the work we believe in and have the capacity to do well.
The makers who guide the shop each bring 20 to 40 years of professional experience creating custom work. Their backgrounds span decades of craftsmanship, thousands of hours at the bench, and a wide range of accomplishments.
Much of our work can be found at cohab.space in High Point, North Carolina.
What is Making Whole? It’s hard to explain fully.
From the moment you walk in, it’s apparent that Making Whole isn’t a business or a job. It’s a community; a family—everyone supporting each other in life and craft. It’s a dynamic atmosphere; a place where there is no desire to rush out; where the sky’s the limit, and each person is given the opportunity to learn and thrive in their skill sets and personal development.
We love to partner with Making Whole because we know the process will be gratifying and the craft extraordinary.
We recognize that the relationship between mentor and student is powerful; that its impact extends to everyone who comes in contact with it. So, what we gain from collaborating with Making Whole isn’t just partnership or product, but another experience in our corporate journey, a relationship, and a symbol of growth and hope.”
